Indy oversees all aspects of FansTang’s China operations. He has a unique combination of computer science knowledge and digital creativity. He founded his first software startup in New Zealand while earning his master’s degree in computer science in human interface technology. Prior to FansTang, he worked as business director at AdMaster, where he helped grow its Beijing operation from seven people to a team of 50, landed strategic key clients like Yili and Haier, and later led the creation of products such as a cross-screen ad, effectiveness evaluation tool. He later joined Sizmek to direct its localization and improve ad effectiveness through creative optimization. Indy joined FansTang in 2014 as Business Development Director and was promoted to President in 2015.
A “Beijing-born Kiwi”, Indy is a hands-on, no-task-too-small kind of guy. Named to Campaign Asia’s Digital A-List in 2016, he believes that excellent content marketing happens when brand identity and message are seamlessly integrated into the content itself and resonate with the audience on an emotional level.
